Massage Therapy is the assessment and manipulation of muscles, joints and connective tissue with the goal of obtaining a therapeutic benefit.
Cupping and Gua Sha are traditional therapeutic techniques that involve creating suction on the skin with cups and scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool, respectively. Both methods aim to increase blood flow, relieve muscle tension, and promote healing by stimulating circulation and enhancing the body's natural recovery processes.
A customized massage with smooth heated stones placed on key areas of the body & incorporated into massage strokes to relieve stiffness & promote deep relaxation of the muscles.
Prenatal massage incorporates gentle and firm pressure techniques tailored to address the specific needs of expectant mothers.
Facial cupping is a therapeutic technique where small suction cups are applied to the face to stimulate blood flow, increase collagen production, and enhance skin elasticity. This non-invasive procedure aims to reduce puffiness, fine lines, and improve overall skin tone by promoting lymphatic drainage and circulation.
Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a gentle massage technique designed to stimulate the flow of lymphatic fluid, aiding in the removal of toxins and reducing swelling. By using light, rhythmic strokes, MLD enhances the immune system, promotes relaxation, and improves overall lymphatic circulation.
Athletic taping involves applying specialized tape to muscles, ligaments, and joints to provide support and stability during physical activity. It helps prevent injuries, aids in recovery, and can enhance athletic performance by reducing pain and improving body mechanics.
I'm passionate about helping clients achieve their rehab and fitness goals, especially when it comes to sports-related injuries. I focus on area-specific rehabilitation to ensure consistency in athletic training and recovery.
I am trained in range of modalities, including advanced sports massage, cupping therapy, gua sha therapy, and various athletic taping methods. Plus, I'm a certified Sport First Responder and the go-to trainer/Sport Massage Therapist for the St. John's Jr Caps hockey team.
I'm also expanding my skills in manual lymph drainage through training with the Dr. Vodder School- International to provide even more comprehensive care. As an active member of CMTNL and NLMTA, I'm always learning and growing. Currently, I'm pursuing my sport fellow designation through the Canadian Sport Massage Therapy Association. My clients appreciate my personalized treatment plans and dedication to their well-being. With my expertise, you can trust you're in good hands on your road to recovery.

Yes, the building itself is outfitted with an automatic door and once inside, the clinic is a main level suite that meets accessibility standards.
Your appointment time includes an intake interview before we get started. Want more hands-on time? I don't blame you! I always recommend booking a longer appointment initially and we can discuss the best booking window as part of your treatment plan.
No. Your comfort is my utmost priority. I've treated clients who are in the nude to fully clothed and everywhere in between. I will work with you to accommodate any needs you may have regarding draping and body positioning to ensure you always feel safe and secure.
Your massage doesn't have to hurt to be effective. If you experience any pain or discomfort during our session, please tell me! I'm always happy to stop or modify your treatment to suit your needs. I tell everyone that I do not invest in the 'no pain, no gain' mantra. My motto is "Leave 'em better than you found 'em."
If you feel sick, you MUST cancel your appointment, especially if you suspect a fever. Your massage will be safer and more enjoyable once you feel better. Please note that the 24-hour cancellation policy still applies in the event of illness or emergency.
Not necessary at all. The best way to show your appreciation is to recommend me to your friends.
You're more than welcome to have a seat in the waiting room for as long as you'd like. I will meet you there once the room is sanitized and ready for you.
I use Myother lotions (either the signature or deep tissue) on your body and ghewol foot salve on your feet. I can also offer organic coconut oil, and for facial and scalp treatments I'll use jojoba or rose hip oil (both of which are non- comedogenic which means it's not going to clog your pores or create unnecessary skin irritation).
I've seen it all. Take a deep breath; you're beautiful.
